Yesterday we were at the Gold Coast Seaway, where we went for a shore dive. After a range of hiccups during the dive from equalising problems to a broken fin straps, we managed to get a short dive in and a few pictures to go with it. There was also a Queensland Grouper in the area, which unfortunately I didn’t get to see. Maybe next time…
We’ve been pretty busy lately, so it’s been a while since posting and it’ll likely be a while before the next one. In the meantime, happy bubbles!
We went shore diving at Tweed River today. Visibility was nice for Tweed, but pretty poor compared to other dive sites such as our last trip to Julian Rocks, Byron Bay. It really makes us appreciate how clear the water was when we went diving with sharks!
Nonetheless, diving was fun and we got to try out some new toys – torch, diveslate, split fins and camera. The torch was bought on eBay for just over $20 and it was well worth the money, illuminating the murkiest parts under rocks and in small caves. Hope you enjoy!
Awesome dive at Julian Rocks today! Saw whales frolicking on the boat trip out. Underwater, we saw stacks on friendly grey nurse sharks, pufferfish, wobbegong sharks, potato cod, a massive starfish and so much more!
