Snorkeling at Tangalooma, Moreton Island

Sunshine, fish, calm seas – What a great way to kick off 2018!

Today, we ventured on a snorkeling trip to the third largest sand island in the world, Moreton Island, where we spent the day snorkeling at Tangalooma Wrecks. While there are several transport options, we caught a barge from the port of Brisbane to land directly adjacent to the wrecks. The trip out is just over an hour and travelers can spend their time watching the world (ocean) go by while sipping on a Latte and maybe even catching some shut eye.
